HEY EVERYONE!! My name is Kara Johnson and I am so excited to be going on the Spring 2022 trip to Central America. I feel like this is exactly where God has called me to be in this season of my life, and I can't wait to see where it takes me. This experience is unlike anything that I have ever done up to this point, yet at the same time it is right up my alley. I have always been an outdoorsy type, especially as a kid. I spent my entire childhood seeking thrills (whether it was climbing the nearest waterfall or trying to surf waves that were wayyy too big for me), and I believe that this trip will NOT disappoint. I also want to experience life and culture outside of America, while also bringing a little big of America to these countries. My life verse is Matthew 23:11, which reads, "the greatest among you must be a servant." My goal for this trip is to serve the locals of these countries and to show them the unwavering love of Jesus while doing so. I can't wait to see what God has in store for next spring, and I'm so excited to see the life change that will happen with everyone involved.
